Beth Koehler is a legal eDiscovery veteran with over twenty years experience.  She began at an AmLaw 100 firm working on insurance coverage cases involving massive eDiscovery requests.  In addition to firm experience, Beth has deep experience at eDiscovery vendors, making her uniquely qualified to see potential pitfalls as well as best practices throughout a matter’s development.  Beth has been involved with hundreds of cases and investigations over the course of her career.

Beth regularly advises clients regarding litigation readiness, data migrations, security, mobile devices, emerging data problems, FRCP best practices, TAR workflows, and managed review. She excels at crafting solutions tailored to each client’s pain points while delivering defensible and efficient results that maximize cost savings.

Beth’s law degree is from Georgetown University Law Center.

Craig Litherland serves as CEO of Tesseract Data Services.  He was instrumental in adding the Tesseract Data team to the Gilbert organization and is committed to expanding its operating services.

As a practicing attorney, Craig has been a frequent and innovative user of data management tools and e-discovery processes for over twenty years.  He has also overseen the economic and administrative functions of a law firm for more than a decade.  That experience guides his oversight of Tesseract, helping provide Tesseract’s clients with the highest possible levels of technical support in efficient and cost-effective structures.

Craig has practiced law for over 40 years, focusing on corporate bankruptcy matters and mass tort litigation.  His more recent bankruptcy work has been centered on complex claims resolution and bankruptcy reorganizations that involve mass tort problems and bankruptcy-related insurance disputes. His clients include corporate debtors, committees, future claimant representatives, and plan trustees.  Mass tort matters often involve large data management issues and discovery processes in circumstances that require the efficiencies that technologies offered by Tesseract Data can provide.

Sam Shirzadi has over two decades of experience in the litigation support industry. Prior to joining TDS in 2023, Sam was a managing director at an industry-leading e-discovery vendor. Sam has an impressive background in leading litigation support efforts in a variety of litigation and investigation practice areas including commercial litigation, insurance recovery, second requests, patent, mass tort, white collar, and other complex disputes.

Sam is both a technical expert and a skilled problem solver. He regularly uses a wide variety of software tools—including cutting-edge AI—to create efficiencies, improve quality, and reduce costs. Sam’s multi-dimensional skillset allows him to create workflows using a variety of techniques and tools to deliver the highest possible service to his clients.

Sam has deep experience translating attorney-level factual and legal issues into actionable, efficient workflows. He understands the big picture and is focused not only on cost savings, but on the smart use of technology and strategic application of knowledge as well. Indeed, Sam’s uncanny ability to solve even the most intractable technical challenges is widely appreciated by his clients and colleagues.
